The Hinton Oak

The NEW Hinton Oak reopened to the public on the 9th March 2004 following a three month transformation to give Highcliffe a modern, stylish, contemporary restaurant and bar.

We pride ourselves on serving freshly made meals to a very high standard at affordable prices.

We have an excellent choice of dishes on our evening menu also offering weekly specials all day everyday. Both combined include fish, meat, poultry and vegetarian dishes. However if we fail to tantalize your taste buds with 48 hours notice we will cook you your very own favourite meal, all you need to do is call us or pop in to advise us of your requests. We also provide a carvery, seven days a week, lunchtimes and evenings.

Our lunch time menu consists of starters, sandwiches, salads, main meals and deserts. So there is something for every taste and appetite.

We can also cater for wedding receptions, birthdays, christenings & wakes. Any Occasion whether you require a buffet or sit down meal, the choice is yours! Details available upon request.

The Hinton Oak boasts a fifty-cover non smoking intimate conservatory restaurant, with dimmed romantic lighting in the evening, accompanied by soft relaxing music.

We also have a patio garden complete with decking, patio tables, its very own rockery with exotic ferns, where you can sit outside relax and be waited on by our enthusiastic restaurant staff.

During our refurbishment we made sure The Hinton Oak has substantial wheelchair access. We have a ramp from the car park leading into the building, a ramp within the building leading to the disabled toilet and also out onto the patio area. We also lowered a section of the bar too enabling easy access to order drinks.

Big Quiz night is Thursday (8:30pm start), and from 9pm - Midnight on the first Friday of each month we have a disco (for over 21's only).
